Fishing in the dark is one of my personal favorite paintings and I am so happy that it has gotten a new home. This painting is actually a combination of 2 memories. The first one is when I first went to Yellowknife in 2023 I was fishing a lot in the evenings and someone introduced me to this song "fishing in the dark", and it just so fun. Fast forward 2 years later my boyfriend and I went out fishing and it just became a beautiful motive. This painting is painted at Big hill lake in Yellowknife and it is to this day one of my favorite spots.
