I’m Sofie Engelschiøn, a multimedia artist born and raised in Eidsvoll, Norway. My work explores the deep connections between humans and nature, blending minimalist aesthetics with natural materials to convey a sense of balance, contrast, and introspection. My works are inspired by the North—the lifestyle, wilderness, and rich cultural heritage that shape its identity.  

I began my artistic journey with a traditional education in Florence, Italy, where I mastered classical techniques. Later, I moved to the remote landscapes of Yellowknife in northern Canada, an experience that deeply influenced my perspective and creative process. This unique blend of cultural heritage and raw wilderness is at the heart of my work.
